July 4th weekend

Two weddings last weekend- one with the trio, one with the cello/guitar duo-
  • Friday evening- The weather could not have been nicer! Very moderate temps for July, and enough cloud cover to provide some shade, but no real threat of rain.  The singer we accompanied sounded great, and was as nice as could be!  Also, it was delightful to re-unite musically with DR. Sheri Lee (who played violin at my own wedding almost 10 years ago!)
  • Saturday evening- Very intrepid wedding party gets married in the rain! Accuweather.com had predicted no rain between 4 and 9pm, but, they sure missed THAT one... however, the rain wasn't very heavy, and there was virtually no wind, so the cover provided by the porch roof and the gazebo worked out fine. Of course, the 15' gap between the two roofs was.... just the price you gotta pay.... Officiant Bill Proud, as always, was delightful.
