Named for 'yours truly' and frontman/singer/guitarist Geoffry Pittman (both long-time veterans of both "Four on the Floor" and Jerry Conrad's Rhythm and Brass- two fine and very different bands), The BG group is a 4 (or 5) piece band which plays favorite dance music from the Swing era, Rock-a-Billy, Classic Rock, R & B, Neo-JumpSwing, and a smattering of newer stuff. 

We shall lure wallflowers to the dance floor with harmless ballads, and keep them there with infectious energy.  


And just for grins, I'll put a little concert music on here- I'll change that up from time to time.  At the moment, we have the third movement of the Brahms Quintet  for clarinet and string quartet.  Moi on the clarinet, George Wolfe and Randall Olson-violins, Katherine Harris-viola, Ruth Hay, cello. From my senior recital at Ohio Wesleyan way back in the day!
