-Hello, and welcome to my little website.
- I've got a few different musical projects going on at any given time- The main ones are:
-THE NEWBURG TRIO (violin, classical guitar, and 'cello), which focuses primarily on wedding and cocktail hour type music... Classical, Standards, Latin, and Pop music.
-THE BRIAN GEOFFRIES GROUP.... A four (or five) member classic rock/R&B/swing era music/dance band with a large, diverse playlist, great vocals (primarily from master singist Geoffrey W. Pittman) and great rhythm. If we don't know your favorite song, we'll either learn it, or spin the CD/iPod on our break!
-SOLO GUITAR work....Also in a variety of styles- Spanish, Classical, Pop, Jazz/Lounge, etc.
-GUITAR/CELLO DUO....This is a great combination of instruments! (we do weddings as a duo, too!)
-MY CD- "Vignettes and WarPonies" - very accessible Classical Music, featuring some guitar solos, some guitar/cello duets, some Newburg Trio performances (in various incarnations), and a few musical parties, with drums, and ukeleles, and digiredoo. I play guitars, clarinet, soprano sax, mandolins, balalaika, uke, and tenor banjo.
